In 1986, Dr. Navarro obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine, followed by his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1990. In 1994, he established Orange Plaza Optometry. Over the subsequent three years, from 1999 onwards, Dr. Navarro assumed various leadership roles, serving as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Inland Empire Optometric Society.
Dr. Navarro holds several certifications, including Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease (1999), Treatment and Management of Glaucoma (2001), Lacrimal Irrigation and Irrigation Procedure Certification (2007), and Glaucoma Treatment and Management (2012). He has achieved the highest level of certification attainable for a California optometrist. Dr. Navarro specializes in treating patients with Glaucoma, Dry Eyes, Macular Degeneration, and Diabetes.
A South American native, Dr. Navarro’s first language is Spanish, providing a valuable asset for Hispanic patients who may prefer to undergo their entire examination in Spanish, fostering a more comfortable experience.
